I am a total starter with WordPress and I managed to install it but I am not sure if I should upgrade and how I can check what's the version which i have installed?
Hi Chip. First of all, if you use outdated version of Wordpress, you should see notification about newer version and suggestion to update.
If you don't see this notification but you still want to check your Wordpress version, go to your Admin Dashboard, then click on a Wordpress logo in the top left corner — and in the dropdown menu click on «About Wordpress». Or you can just open /wp-admin/about.php (you need to be logged in as administrator). On this page you will see information about your worpress version.
